PacketX Gateway
An enterprise AI gateway: API proxying, model fallback routing and token optimisation in front of commercial and locally hosted models, with policy enforcement and an audit trail.
One governed entry point for every model
Enterprises adopting large language models accumulate direct integrations with several providers, each with its own credentials, cost profile and data-handling terms. PacketX places a single gateway in front of them. Applications call one API; the gateway applies policy, selects the model, meters the tokens and records the exchange.
Capabilities
- API proxying — a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint in front of commercial providers and locally hosted models, with per-application credentials.
- Model fallback routing — ordered routing across providers and local models by capability, cost, latency and availability, with automatic failover.
- Token optimisation — prompt compression, caching and context management to reduce spend, with budgets and quotas by team or application.
- Policy and redaction — personal and sensitive data detected and redacted before a request leaves the client’s environment; data-residency rules enforced per route.
- Audit trail — every request, route decision and response logged for compliance review, with retention configurable to policy.
Deployment
PacketX runs on client premises, on Packet Cloud Services infrastructure in Malaysia, or as a managed service operated by Packet Labs. Licensing is per environment, with support and model-catalogue updates included.
Where PacketX is deployed
Regulated enterprises
Banks, insurers and healthcare groups that need to use commercial models without personal data leaving their jurisdiction.
Multi-model estates
Engineering teams running several providers and local models that need one interface, one bill and one audit log.
Cost control
Organisations whose AI spend has grown without budgets, quotas or visibility by team.
Evaluate PacketX
A scoped evaluation on your own workloads, on premises or on Group infrastructure.
